What worries you most about the government's NHS reforms

Islington residents have responded in their  hundres to my NHS survey – and they are very worried about deep cuts to local health care.

Seventy five per cent of respondents were worried abour budget cuts – the biggest concern for my constituents.

It goes to show that despite the Conservative pledge to ring-fence funding, health budgets are being squeezed.

Many constituents were also concerned about the introduction of more competition at the heart of the NHS, and others were concerned about increasing bureaucracy.

With the health service in North Central London being forced to make £137 million cuts this year, it’s not surprising that so many people in Islington are worried about our NHS.
