Emily met four of the Iranian hunger strikers camped-out on Roseberry Avenue this Wednesday.

Emily said:

“I went to see Kiarash, Ahmad, Morteza and Keyvan on Wednesday.

I explained to them that – whether they lived in a house or on the pavement – they lived in my patch and it was my duty to look after them.

I pleaded with them to give up their hunger strike and reassured them that I would stand up for them.

I am supporting their case to the Home Office and working with their solicitors.”
