Emily Thornberry For Islington South and Finsbury
Help with the cost of living
Since this crisis hit, I have been inundated with emails from constituents concerned about the impact on themselves and others in our community. If you yourself are struggling due to this crisis, or need help accessing benefits and housing support, please contact my office and my casework team will be able to offer you guidance.
Help from Islington Council
Our Labour council has lots of extra support available. Visit their website for information:
- Maximising your benefits and government cost-of-living payments
- Money and debt management
- Help with childcare and family costs
- Saving money on your energy and water bills
- Local food banks
- Hardship Fund
