Across the country, volunteers from all walks of life joined Macmillan's annual event - the World's Largest Coffee Morning - by giving away coffee to commuters and shoppers in exchange for voluntary donations to the charity.
In Islington, staff from Starbucks set up shop in space donated by Barclays Bank across the street to give out free coffee and take donations for Macmillan.

"The World's Largest Coffee Morning is a great idea by Macmillan to raise money for their work. As soon as I heard about it, I knew there would be people in Islington taking part. I want to thank the staff of Starbucks and Barclays for giving up their free time to get involved."
