Emily has backed Ken Livingstone's plan to mount a legal challenge to the Post Office closures announced yesterday. Following the announcement by the Post Office that almost two hundred Post Offices in London face closure, the Mayor of London said he intends to launch a legal challenge to the decision.
Emily said:
"The proposals from the Post Office simply aren't up to scratch, so Ken's right to be looking at taking this fight to the courts. We rely on our Post Offices for lots of important day-to-day services and closing them will make life more difficult for Islington people."
