Emily has sent greetings to constituents in her Christmas card wishing them a "Happy Christmas and Peaceful New Year".
Emily also joined Gordon Brown in sending best wishes to mark the Muslim festivel of Eid al-Adha.
Emily said:
"I wish everyone a merry Christmas, Happy Eid and peaceful New Year. This is a special time when the community can come together to reflect on our many blessings and remember those who are less fortunate. Let us also pledge to work together in 2008 for a better and peaceful world."
