Emily Thornberry and Islington resident Shana Swash - who played Demi Miller in EastEnders until leaving the show last Friday- drew raffle tickets together at the Thornhill School Summer Fete last Friday.
Shana was born in Islington, along with her brother Joe, who also plays her on-screen brother in EastEnders. She joined the show in 2002 and left last Friday, 7 July with her mother Rosie and daughter Aleesha Beyoncé.
